LI23代表什么意思？

1.Considering each large sphere is surrounded by eight tetrahedral and six
octahedral sites, the stoichiometric composition was derived as LI23.
2.the volume fraction of the intermediate particles was derived and further
translated into an average crystal stoichiometry of LI21-23,
这段话中的 LI23，LI21-23代表什么意思？好像是和空间利用率有关的，不是很清楚，希望大家不吝赐教。
