Job Description : Organometallic Research Chemist
Components Research is looking for a recent college graduate to investigate
novel molecular synthesis techniques for a variety of enabling processes to
drive the future generations of Intel processing. In this position, you will
be responsible for synthesizing new molecules, materials and processes and
validating their performance with functional testing. Examples of applied
projects may include, but are not limited to, ALD precursor development,
selective of organic/inorganic materials, or a variety of polymer synthesis
applications. Youwill need to communicate and collaborate effectively with
other groups and individuals inside and outside of Intel.
Qualifications
You must be a recent college graduate with a Ph.D. in Chemistry and
extensive hands-on
experience in organometallic synthesis. Additional qualifications include:
• Solid, diverse technical and practical understanding of
organometallic chemistry
• Keen experimental insight
• Ability to devise and focus on key experiments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly motivated, and excited by self-directed hands-on work
• Creative and flexible to thrive under changing priorities
• Teamwork skills
• Semiconductor processing and integration knowledge/experience would
be an addedadvantage
