General Information: As you know, new approach to chemistry, named “Green” or “Sustainable” chemistry, started a few years ago. Green chemistry means new chemistry, which is friendly to the environment. Chemistry is one of the basic pillars of modern world, and chemistry is one of the major pollution sources of the environment. But now we have amazing examples of how chemical processes can be safe and profitable at the same time. Moreover, modern environment friendly chemistry is obligatory safe, because it means resource-saving, energy-saving, zero-emission chemistry. That is why green chemistry attracts more and more attention around the world. Our conference goes after the 1-st IUPAC Conference on Green-Sustainable Chemistry that was held in Dresden, Germany, in September 2006 and was excellently organized by German Chemical Society. To make our conference interesting and attractive, we decided to organize it on board of the ship “Alexander Radishchev”. Opening ceremony and first plenary lecturers will be held in the new Conference Hall of M.V.Lomonosov Moscow State University, situated in new building of Intellectual Center – Fundamental Library of our University. It is very significant, that leading Russian University is one of the main organizers of this conference. In fact, educational importance of green chemistry is beyond any doubts, because future generations of chemists have to absorb green chemistry approach as soon as possible. After the opening ceremony the participants will transfer on board of the ship. Scientific sessions and round-table discussions during the trip will alternate with excursions to ancient Russian towns and monasteries. We hope that such program will help us to set up creative and friendly atmosphere of fruitful presentations and discussions. 谢谢楼主提供
