Description
PhD Studentship, Synthetic Organic Chemistry
A fully-funded PhD position is available in the group of Dr Simon E. Lewis at the University of Bath. These have been shown to have neuroregenerative effects in vitro and hence may be of use of the development of treatments for Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, etc.
Applicants should have (or expect to receive) a 2:1 or above in chemistry. The position is for 3 years, starting in October 2008. A stipend is payable at EPSRC rates (£12,940 pa tax free for 2008-09).
