A Postdoctoral Position is available to investigate molecular mechanisms of cytokine-induced apoptosis in cancer cells. The research is focused on understanding the functional role of STAT transcription factors in the activation of novel cellular death pathways, inflammation and cancer.
The candidate must be a recent Ph.D. with a strong background in immunology and/or molecular and cellular biology. Highest priority will be given to applicants who have expertise in gel electrophoresis, qPCR methodology, fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry. Experience in working with animal models is desirable. Applicants must be highly motivated and have a solid publication record in a relevant field.
