There is a postdoctoral position currently available in the laboratory of Dr. Louis Bouchard at UCLA’s Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. The applicant should have a doctoral degree which includes experience in one or a combination of the following fields (and not limited to):
applied physics,
nanoscience, nanotechnology
chemistry and/or materials science and engineering;
should have strong experimental and technical skills, and demonstrated the ability to build experimental setups.
Microfabrication and nanofabrication skills are an asset.
Knowledge and experience in catalysis is also an asset.
The successful candidate will conduct research at the interface of microfluidics, biology, catalysis and magnetic resonance imaging, and will have access to state of the art facilities of the California NanoSystems Institute (CNSI).
