One Postdoctoral Research Associate in Synthetic Organic Chemistry is immediate available at Baylor College of Medicine. You should have several years' experience in multi-step organic synthesis, with good knowledge of NMR for compound characterization, as well as a good track record of publications.
The main job duties are to design and synthesize compounds as novel inhibitors. If desired, they can be trained in computational drug design (docking, QSAR, etc), molecular & cell biology, and even protein crystallography. The positions can last for at least three years, subject to satisfactory performance. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
