On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to invite you to participate in the International Conference on Nanoscience and Technology, China 2007 (ChinaNANO2007) which will be held on June 4-6, 2007 in Beijing, China. This is the second conference following the 2005 China International Conference on Nanoscience and Technology (ChinaNANO2005) held on June 9-11, 2005 in Beijing.
The ChinaNANO2007 is intended to stimulate the discussions on the forefront research in nanoscience and technology. The conference will focus on nanoscale materials and structures, self-assembly and growth on surfaces, nano-optics and nanophotonics, nanoelectronics and NEMS, nanobiology and nanomedicine, computation and modeling, nanometrology. It is sincerely hoped that the scope of the conference will serve the interest of the scientific communities, as well as industries and general public. I wish to extend my most sincere welcome to all participants and sponsors of the event.

The Conference Venue will be Beijing International Convention Center (BICC), which is located in the Asian Games Village, 10 kilometers north of the city center of Beijing and 20 kilometers southwest of Beijing International Airport. BICC is the largest congress complex in Beijing and has sophisticated facilities.

BICC is an eight-story building with two underground floors, comprising 50 conference halls and meeting rooms with capacities from 10 to 2500 people. BICC also has indoor exhibition halls holding as many as 300 international standard exhibition booths and dozens of offices.
