It is a little difficult to define "原创". In my opinion, if a post is not done by simple "Copy" & "Paste", where his/her idea or experience is incorporated, it should be in the range of "original" posts although some data can be accessible by Internet.

if counting Pd's translation, it's original. Or else, it's not.

Anyway, it's not a big deal.

I think JACS is better than Angew. Chem. Although the latter has a little higher impact factor(8.X) than JACS. Because JACS does not publish any review. All the reviews belongs to JACS catagory are published on Chemical Reviews and Accounts of chemical research. I like JACS more.

I think JACS is more pure chemistry oriented now. A lot of nano tech and materials papers are diversed to Nano Letters or Advanced Materials. JACS communcation is quite hard to get accepted either. 3 reviews for communication, if 1 major, 1 minor.. you will be rejected.

i use JACS a lot, while i know little about Angew.chem
